Payments

MDT accepts payment by credit/debit cards:
Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Connect, Switch/Maestro, Visa Electron and solo.

Please give the full card number and expiry date along with confirmation that you are the cardholder. (AMEX/American Express cards are not accepted).

Each time an order is placed on the MDT website, your card details are verified with your bank / card provider. This is known as a pre-authorization, it is not a charge. The pre-authorization may sometimes be mistakenly viewed as a duplicate charge.

Transactions to your card are completely beyond our control, as this is a strictly secure area that MDT (or any other retailer) does not have access to. MDT only send requests to your bank / card provider through a payment service provider. Due to this MDT cannot cancel any pre-authorizations or control the lengh a particular pre-authorization is valid. The way pre-authorizations are handled will vary depending on the bank / card provider and country.

For the above reason, MDT is unable to specify the reason if a card is declined. Please contact your bank / card provider for further information.

MDT does not charge until your order is dispatched.

Your card details will be stored on a highly encrypted secure sever, you can of course remove your payment details after placing an order or at any time (please view the online accounts page)

For your own security and to prevent credit card fraud all payment information is checked when submitting an order on our web site. If you experience any problems submitting an order please check your card details (as shown below) and change if appropriate, especially the 3 digit security number.
