Since her debut appearance on BBC television in September 1966, Angela Rippon has become one of the country’s most familiar and respected broadcast journalists on both radio and television. In 1976 she became the nation’s first woman journalist news reader, and her many programme credits include The Antiques Roadshow, Top Gear, Come Dancing, What’s My Line and The Holiday Programme. She is currently Chairman of the Board of English National Ballet.
