Leif Ove Andsnes is one of EMI Classics’ major recording artists and has established himself as one of the very finest pianists of his generation. Both his concert appearances and recordings consistently receive superlative reviews and international awards.

 

Leif Ove has now been recording for EMI for some time so it was decided that some of his best recordings for both Virgin Classics and EMI from the past 11 years should be presented on one album. This 2CD includes both core repertoire and works by other Norwegian composers to reflect the nationality of the artist.
