Quebec Symphony Orchestra
In 2002, the Quebec Symphony Orchestra celebrates its centenary, a venerable achievement that makes it Canada's longest standing symphony orchestra. Since its founding in 1902, the Quebec Symphony Orchestra has been one of the principal musical forces in the Quebec City region. Its regular season includes over forty concerts, an admission-free regional concert tour, a youth concert series, participation with the Quebec Opera Company, the Grands Ballets Canadiens, and concerts at the Lanaudière International Festival. Through such means, the orchestra is able to reach over 100,000 music lovers each year
