‘Golden Voices of Yesteryear’ is a 67 track compilation of the finest tracks by the vocalists John McCormack, Richard Tauber and Peter Dawson. All the tracks have been lovingly restored and digitally remastered to sound more vibrant than ever before.

Although the list of great singers of the 20th century is long indeed, three names stand out as true ‘people’s choices’ - singers whose technical capabilities were matched by an indefinable charisma or star quality and an ability to reach straight to the heart of music lovers of all classes, backgrounds and nationalities. For the first half of the century, Ireland’s John McCormack, Austria’s Richard Tauber and Australia’s Peter Dawson were almost unassailable as purveyors of classical and popular repertoire alike. Their recordings and performances dominated the English speaking music world, making them legends in their own lifetimes and well beyond.
