An accomplished musician who, though always attracted to swing and jazz, has never forgotten the fundamental beats of her native choro and samba.
Eddie Gomez is one of the finest bassists in jazz history, having spent a total of 11 years performing as part of the Bill Evans trio. He has played with many of the greatest names in jazz, including Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, Herbie Hancock, Gerry Mulligan, Michael Brecker and Wayne Shorter.
