The “Alfredo Piatti” concert hall is located in the charming upper town of Bergamo and it is situated in the historic Palazzo della Misericordia. Inside the hall, built in 1903, is the organ built by the Vincenzo Mascioni company in 1907. Even though this instrument is not of enormous proportions, it certainly has a strong personality and is a rare example in Italy of a concert organ. A recent restoration, done by the original firm of builders, has restored its original bright sound.
