I Fagiolini

Robert Hollingworth director

with David Miller lute

Thomas Morley's compilation of twenty-five madrigals by a unique cross-section of twenty-three English composers was first published 401 years ago in 1601.

I Fagiolini have earned a reputation as one of Europe's most innovative and entertaining solo-voice ensembles, with a core repertoire of Renaissance and contemporary music. The group's busy schedule takes it all over the world, often collaborating with other artists such as viol consort Concordia and His Majestys Sagbutts & Cornetts. I Fagiolini broadcasts regularly for the BBC and made its debut at the Promenade concerts in August 2000.
