playing “live” in November of 1944 at the Empire Room of The Rice Hotel, Houston, Texas and at The famous Steel pier in Atlantic City New Jersey in July of 1945. The recordings feature one of his best line-ups and include vocalist Frances Wayne with Woody stretching his vocal chords on several tracks. Ralph Burns as well as playting piano is also the arranger for many of the tracks. An interesting addition to any serious collection.
